Baffle Board
Baffle Board is a unique hybrid material, blending the high mechanical strength of Carbon/Carbon composite with the low thermal conductivity of rigidized felt. These characteristics make it well suited to act as a thermal barrier in multiple zone furnaces. It is fabricated by compressing high-density rigidized felt between Carbon/Carbon composite panels. The thickness of the composite and felt can be adjusted to suit customers’ specific requirements.
